In the summer of 2016, First Presbyterian Church of Jeffersonville, Indiana raised funds to open a tree nursery on the grounds of the Africa Inland Church’s bishop’s office in Kisumu, Kenya.
By the end of the summer, the tree nursery was up and running. It has been expanding since then, growing shade trees and fruit trees to plant on the grounds of area churches, schools, hospitals, and homes, supplying more than 10,000 seedlings every year.
