Bishop Tom Ochuka, shown with his wife Damar Lango, coordinates health and environment for the Africa Inland Church in the Nyanza Province of Kenya. Along with Dr. Trisha Tull in Indiana, U.S.A., Bishop Tom founded God’s Green Resourceful Earth in 2016 in Kisumu, Kenya. He has been pastor–often founding pastor–to numerous AIC churches in the region. In 2017, along with Trisha, Tom successfully applied for and coordinated a $50,000 grant from the Presbyterian Women’s Thank Offering to rebuild a historic dispensary into a regional health center in Nyakach, Kenya.

Fred Nyandiare is an accountant with a passion for farming, especially fruit farming. He assists in budgeting, book management, and project finances. Married with three children, he often waters the nursery trees on weekends.


Lilian Akumu hails from the floodplain of Kano in Kisumu County. She is a trained human resource officer with a great passion for environmental care. A Christian who loves working with children and women, Lilian is organizing women in microfinance and finding solutions to improve family income in poor villages and churches.
